"10 Cereals That Were Too Sweet to Last." Fox News. FOX News Network, 07 Mar. 2014. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

Fox’s article, like most in this list, was written within the last year and sorrowfully contemplates the end of the age of sugar cereal, including consideration of Michelle Obama’s campaign to halt the marketing of sugary foods to children.

The ten cereals and descriptions which follow the introduction are a rip-off of the below article from the Daily Meal, which features an additional seven discontinued cereals. This article does not include images, but uses the same descriptive text from the Daily Meal.

"17 Cereals That Were Too Sweet To Last Slideshow." The Daily Meal. N.p., n.d. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

In slideshow format, this site shows varying-sized images of cereal boxes with a short description of each of the 17 documented here. **

Buckholtz, Hillary. "54 Cereals We Loved and Lost - A Tribute - Urlesque."Urlesque. N.p., 2 Mar. 2011. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

This website includes a rather long list of discontinued cereals. The large number of cereal titles was extremely helpful in shaping the list that led to my own collection. Unfortunately, no extra information is included, only images. Each image is captioned with a short citation, such as “Flickr/SA_Steve”.

Cosme, Shanté. "25 Awesome Cereals That No Longer Exist." Complex. N.p., 13 Mar. 2013. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

Shanté gives a more well-rounded account of her favorite 25 discontinued cereal varieties including not only a description but the maker of each and even an account of when the cereal hit its peak popularity.

"Discontinued Cereals List - Kellogg’s, Post, General Mills, Nabisco, Ralston, Quaker Cereal." Discontinued Cereals List - Kellogg’s, Post, General Mills, Nabisco, Ralston, Quaker Cereal. N.p., n.d. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

This is a very long list of discontinued cereals. It is only a list and nothing more, but I found many cereals here that I didn’t see elsewhere.

Galindo, Brian. "26 Cereals From The '90s You'll Never Be Able To Eat Again." BuzzFeed. N.p., 3 May 2013. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

This website contains images of 26 cereals from the ’90’s. These images are rather large and stem from “mrbreakfast.com”.

Higgins, Keenan. "15 Cereal Brands We Want Back | Green Label." Green Label. N.p., 22 Mar. 2014. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

Here are 15 more discontinued cereal options, each with a photo and description. There were a few more in here that I hadn’t found elsewhere.

Tropf, Zach. "A Tribute to Discontinued Cereals." Gunaxin Grub. N.p., 4 Mar. 2009. Web. 30 Nov. 2014.

This is one of the first webpages I looked at to begin this project. There is an image included for every cereal plus the year each was introduced and a description. There are also several television commercials included in the article. This article is extensive and broad.
